honor the animal

experiential design for teachers, coaches, trainers, therapists, parents, and health professionals

Coming Spring 2025

The human animal is in big trouble. Many of us are moved to activism, resistance, and protest, but as author Naomi Klein famously put it “No is not enough.” To succeed, there must be a creation of new culture, ideas, and life ways. We must be radically, ferociously, relentlessly creative.

More than anything, we need high-functioning humans who can sustain their creativity in the face of intimidating challenge. By designing optimal experiences for our students, clients, patients, and athletes, we can help them maintain their resilience, strength, and function in a high-stress world.

This book is a practical, interdisciplinary guide for anyone who works with the human animal. No matter your professional role, this book will give you a formula for creating transformative experiences. As you’ll see, the orientation is maximally relevant, distinctly pro-health, pro-habitat, pro-social, and pro-future.
